01 / The Operating Environment

Low-altitude airspace was never designed for this much traffic.

Commercial drones, small UAS, and legacy radar blind spots have converged on the same layer of sky that protects airports, stadiums, borders, and critical infrastructure. Detecting and defeating threats there requires more than a single sensor — it requires a system.

<400ft

The uncontrolled altitude band where most recreational and hostile drones operate — largely invisible to legacy ATC radar.

24/7

Airspace threats don't observe business hours. Detection-to-track systems must run continuously, unattended, in all weather.

4 Domains

RF, radar, acoustic, and electro-optical — the sensing layers that must fuse into one operating picture to beat a single point of failure.

Zero

Acceptable tolerance for undetected incursions near flight lines, VIP movements, and protected facilities.

02 / What We Do

Core Capabilities

Deep expertise across the full aerospace and defense systems spectrum — from individual components to complete turnkey solutions.

01

Aviation Safety

System safety analysis, hazard identification, Foreign Object Debris (FOD) detection, and compliance support for civil and military operators — from design through operations.

02

Anti-Drone Technologies

Counter-UAS detection, classification, tracking, and neutralization. Multi-sensor fusion using RF, radar, acoustic, and electro-optical to protect critical infrastructure and events.

03 / Our Approach

Every mission is different. Every system should be too.

We don't sell a fixed catalog of boxes. Every program starts with your operational needs and mission requirements, and is engineered — architecture, sensors, interfaces, and integration — around them.

Why should you settle for a one-size-fits-all solution when your mission demands something better?

One-Size-Fits-All

The off-the-shelf approach

  • Fixed hardware bundles regardless of site or threat
  • Generic interfaces built for the average customer
  • Retrofitted around whatever the vendor already builds
  • Must modify your CONOPS to fit their solutions
Zarcadia Standard

Customer-specific engineering, start to finish

  • Architecture derived from your terrain, threat, and mission profile
  • Interfaces designed around how your operators actually work
  • Custom design and integration for challenging operational needs
  • One accountable engineering team from concept to acceptance

04 / Engineering Approach

Multi-sensor fusion isn't a feature. It's the foundation.

No single sensor defeats every threat profile or meets every operational need. We evaluated RF detection, radar, electro-optical/infrared, and acoustic sensing against the metrics that matter for reliable counter-UAS and airspace surveillance — then fused them into one operating picture.

Signal processing, target tracking, classification and threat assessment are all enhanced through the integration of multiple sensor modalities.

Sensor ModalityDetection RangeAll-WeatherClassificationPassive / Covert
RF Detection Long Yes Signal-based Fully Passive
Radar Long Yes Track / Size Active
Electro-Optical / IR Medium Limited Visual Confirm Fully Passive
Acoustic Short Yes Signature-based Fully Passive
Zarcadia Fusion Stack Layered Coverage Yes Cross-Verified Configurable

No Single Point of Failure

Weather defeats EO/IR. Terrain masks radar. RF alone can't confirm a visual. Fusion covers every modality's blind spot with another.

Detect → Classify → Track

Cross-cued sensors hand off targets automatically, reducing false alarms and giving operators a single verified track, not four competing alerts.

HF to GHz

Cooperative and non-cooperative targets are tracked across the full frequency spectrum, from low-power hobbyist links to encrypted commercial telemetry.

Built for the Site

Every deployment is architected around the terrain, mission, and threat profile of the facility — not sold as a fixed box off the shelf.

05 / How We Deliver

From Concept to Capability

A disciplined systems engineering lifecycle, applied to every program regardless of scale — from a single-site sensor install to a national airspace surveillance network.

01

Needs Analysis

Define operational requirements, system constraints, and performance thresholds before a single line of design is committed.

02

Systems Engineering

Architecture design, trade studies, interface control documents, and technical specifications across complex multi-domain systems.

03

Program Management

Master program schedules, milestone tracking, risk management, and rigorous budget control throughout the program lifecycle.

04

Integration & Testing

Installation, configuration, unit test, and formal factory and site acceptance testing to verify full operational readiness.
